We developed this animation to illustrate the changes that occur to nerves affected by Multiple Sclerosis.

The first part of the animation shows the visual stimuli that was used to produce nerve impulses that formed the basis of the nerve conduction studies. This animation was presented by researchers at conferences as an introduction to their research findings.

Because this animation was picked up by the Multiple Sclerosis community it has had nearly 60,000 views since it was posted on YouTube. It’s a good example of how useful animation can go viral.
